I have been attending births for 24 years, 18 years as a community midwife. My desire is to serve women and families as they make the choice to birth at home. I stay current in Neonatal Resuscitation and CPR. I do continuing education each year covering various topics and the most cutting edge science concerning the MotherBaby-Family triad.
Birth matters. Women and babies all around the world need us to care about this sacred time and this issue. I support the International Childbirth Initiative. I’ll be spending some of my time each year pouring into the health and wellness of MotherBaby-Family Maternity Care. I’m currently persuing the Post-graduate Diploma in International Midwifery and Maternal/Child Health through Mercy in Action in hopes of supporting positive changes in policies and legislation globally.
